Report has it that, a group of people from Ifelodun Local Government who are loyalists to Hon. Ishmail Tijani held a special prayer at CAPE Hotel, Omupo, for His Excellency, Mall. Abdulraman Abdulrasaq, the Governor of Kwara State; Hon. Ishmail Tijani, a member of Federal House of Representative, representing Ifelodun/Oyun/ Offa Federal Constituency; The APC State Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi and the two distinguish Honourables from Ifelodun LG, Hon. AGF Salahuddeen and Hon. Rasaq Owolabi.
The prayer also extended to the TIC Chairman, Prince J.J Asonibare, and the Local Government APC Chairman, Hon. Abdullateef Quadri.
The prayer was organized by the KIT- G100 Ifelodun LG Chapter.
In the opening address read by the secretary of the group, Mr. Lawal Tunde Alaro on behalf of the Chairman said that the prayer was organized to pray for the success of the State Government, the party, and KIT Patron, Hon. Ishmail Tijani, who sponsored the prayer. In his address, he said that the medium is also used to show support, and solidarity for His Excellency, the Governor, and Hon. Kayode Tijani.
On his part, Hon. Ebun Oyeleye outlined the achievements of Hon. Ishmail Tijani in Ifelodun Local Government which includes, provision of 17 motorized boreholes, provision of solar light energy, the renovation of the Health Center, construction of a town Hall, construction of interlock road, renovations of 3 hand pump boreholes, car gifts, etc.
Hon. Nike Ajibola also emphasized what Hon. Oyeleye deposited on the achievements of Hon. Tijani. “Hon. Tijani promises the people of our Local Government more good things in few months to come”, she reinforced.
The Patron, Honorable Kayode Ismail Tijani (KIT) was ably represented by his Assistant, Mr. Awodola Oyeleye, the PA encourages the party representatives from each ward to ensure unity among themselves in other to achieve their aims in the upcoming election. He also implored each ward’s representatives to make sure that they encourage their members to go and register for their permanent voters’ card, “your voter’s card is your right and it will serve as your voice in the upcoming election” he added.
In his statement, he announced that there are many things that Hon. Ishmail Tijani has in the pipeline for the people of Ifelodun Local Government.
Prince AbdulRasak Owolabi who represented the APC party at the ceremony emphasized the importance of the voter’s card, he, therefore, plead for the assistance of the Hon. Ishmail Tijani on the issue of PVC Registration.
The special prayer was attended by KIT- G100 members from 18 wards of the Local Government. The PA later inaugurate KIT- G100 on behalf of Hon. Ishmail Tijani. The members consist of 5 members from each ward.
Many Political stalwarts from Ifelodun/ Oyun/ Offa were also present at the occasion.
