The Kwara State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has pledged its support for the administration and the re- election bid of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for second term.
The Union Chairman, Alhaji Ariwo Ola gave this pledge in Ilorin today while receiving members of the Kwara State TV Board who were on a courtesy visit.
He said with AA’S impressive record of performance and like they did in 2019, the Union is prepared to be on the governor’s campaign train to all the 16 LGAS where it has its membership spread describing the administration of AA as “our government”.
Alhaji Ariwo Ola who had his executives and representatives drawn from the 16 LGA’s in attendance, commended the Kwara TV Board for the visit and the transformation the Station is presently undergoing. He promptly directed his members across board to do business with Kwara State Television as “we can’t afford not to love what is ours”.
Speaking earlier, Chairman Kwara TV board, Alhaji Hameed Adio praised the Union for the unique role it plays in the movement of the mass of our people across the Country through road transportation. He also commended the Union for being peaceful and supportive of the AA administration in its quest to ensure the safety of life and property of our people.
Alhaji Adio solicited a cordial working relationship which will be of benefit to the two organisations.
In his vote of thanks, General Manager of Kwara TV, Mr.Olatunde Michaels thanked the Union for accepting to do business with Kwara TV as the Station continues to put Kwara First in all it does.
