Yesterday, Igbomina National Students’ Union, Kwara State Polytechnic Chapter held a Mega Rally in preparation for the 30th Anniversary of the existence of the Association on campus.

The rally was aimed at visiting offices of igbomina lecturers inside in the campus and also to pay homage to their respective Patrons and patronesses in the campus who served as the pillar of the association.

The mega rally began from the school gate around 10:00am in the morning actively led by the Union President, Sen Adeola Adebayo Shola encircled by hundreds of igbomina student with excitement and anticipation of celebration of the thirty years anniversary.

The director of IJMB, Dr. Mrs, Felicia Awolola was the first person to recieved the crew in her office, she came out with excitement and gave them a warm welcome, she encourages the president to continue with the developmental activity he is doing and to work hard to ensure the success of the union.

The Chief Lecturer of the department of Banking and Finances, Prince Dr. Adewoye Adegboyega also gave an ardent welcome to the team and encouraged them to always be genteel in all they do and serves as a role model to other associations in the campus.

At the institute of Technology, Engineer Adeshina Adeoti of the department of Electrical and Electronics encourages them not to forget about home, as home is the welcome of journey.

“Wherever you found yourself, make sure you always display culture and be a good ambassador of igbomina land, I urge all the executives to portray a good leadership behaviour, as it will serves a pointer to your future, for every good deed there is a reward, I urge the incoming excos to also build on the foundation of the outgoing excos as continuity is very important”, he added.
