Following the announcement, last Sunday, of a process towards conducting election for a new set of executive for the Kwara chapter of the All Progressives Youth Forum (APYF), Hon. Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi, a pioneer member of the Forum, has commended the outgoing executive led by Mr. Tunde Salau for its commitment and proactiveness.

Abdullahi, who at various times served as the Kwara State Coordinator and North Central coordinator of the Forum, observed that the Salau-led executive has done tremendously well and contributed immensely towards the advancement of APYF in Kwara State.

While noting that the restructuring at the national level, which requires every APYF member above the age of 40 to advance into the parent body, The Progressive Forum, is a necessary and strategic reorganization; Abdullahi, who is also the National Publicity Secretary of TPF, said the APYF would expectedly continue to function as the youth arm and help TPF deliver on its objective as a popular and credible political group.

While advising transparency in the election of the new leadership for Kwara APYF, Abdullahi, who was Deputy Director in the APC Presidential Campaign Council, charged all members of the Forum in the State to remain steadfast and rededicate themselves to the ideals of inclusive politics which the group holds dear.
