Governor Fintiri lauded the outgoing officials for their dedication and contributions to local development, describing them as “great motivators” in the state’s grassroots advancement.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has dissolved all 50 Development Area Administrators with immediate effect.
The announcement, delivered Thursday via a statement from the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, directed the outgoing administrators to transfer all official responsibilities, documents, and properties to the most senior civil servants in their respective offices.
Governor Fintiri lauded the outgoing officials for their dedication and contributions to local development, describing them as “great motivators” in the state’s grassroots advancement.
“I commend the Development Area Administrators for their tireless efforts in stimulating development at the grassroots level,” Fintiri stated. “Their support has been instrumental in our achievements. I wish them success in their future endeavors and reaffirm our commitment to the welfare and development of Adamawa’s people.”
The Governor’s office emphasised that the transition would be seamless, with experienced senior staff stepping in to maintain uninterrupted government operations.
