Following the announcement, made yesterday, of the appointment of Hon. Ibrahim Akaje as the Chairman, Lagos State Ward Congress Appeal Committee of the All Progressive Congress, we, the AkajeMyRep crusaders congratulates the “Major General” of the Youth inclusiveness crusader, on his worthy appointment.

The appointment Akaje by the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee to chair an appeal committee in front of which member contestants aggrieved by the outcome of the conducted congress can air their contestation and grievances. This appointment cannot be more perfectly timed given the virtue and value of unbiased sense of judgement attributed to the person of Hon. Ibrahim Akaje. His trustworthiness and gentle approach to settling disputes remains his unique style of leadership.

Being a youth celebrated for his renowned personality of championing the course of justice and equity, the appointment of our “Warlord” is one that further tells the Kwara State populace of his acceptance across all age brackets; young and old.

It is also in this light that we appreciates the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his model of governance that’s not only focused on bringing good to all Kwarans but shaped in a way that give more opportunities to the younger generations. The support of youths by His Excellency has no doubt reflected in the appointment of Hon. Ibrahim Akaje.

Once again, congratulations Hon. Ibrahim Akaje. We wish you an impactful leadership of the Appeal Committee, and we remain grateful to Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, and Governor Mai Mala Buni’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressive Congress. We have no doubt that you will deliver in your new responsibility like you’ve always done in all responsibilities placed upon your shoulders.
