APC Agunjin ward raises ban on ward Chairman, others over mismanagement of party funds

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Agunjin ward alongside Hon. Toyin Otolorin, Toyin Abdullahi and Engr. Jide Usman who were suspended on Monday, dated 18th July, 2022 over mismanagement of party funds and engagement in Anti-party activities had been pardoned on the offences committed.

This was made known to the public in the released press statement by the Party Local Government Area Chairman, Alhaji Abdullateef Qadir to officially support their actions in the interest of the party towards the success in the forthcoming 2023 election.

According to him: “It is worthy of note that the love, loyalty and zeal of the Executives and the stakeholders towards the party, the Governor and all her candidates with an hindsight towards the success of the party at the 2023 polls inspired us in suspending the party members” he said.

The leader of the party, Alhaji Suleiman Obalola had stood up and running to restore peace, added that the reconciliatory and fact-finding meeting had organized towards proffer solution to the crisis and rebuild a stronger Agunjin ward.

It was also revealed that the Party Hierarchy and His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq had intervened on the matter to resolve the issue and make sure the suspended members resume work for the success of the party on all fronts in the coming 2023 General election.
