APC Denounces Protest by Non-Party Members in Oke-Ero LG

Get more connected to the real facts

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oke-Ero Local Government wishes to address a recent protest led by Alhaja Folake Yusuf, a former Council Chairperson and known associate of Senator Bukola Saraki.

The protest, which questioned the legitimacy of our Chairmanship flag bearer, James Abiodun Fadipe, was attended by fewer than 20 women and has raised significant concerns within the party.

It is important to note that Alhaja Yusuf is not a card-carrying member of the APC. Her involvement in the protest suggests a deliberate attempt to destabilize the unity of the APC in Oke-Ero.

Our esteemed chairmanship candidate, James Abiodun Fadipe, is currently engaged in constructive dialogue with ward Chairmen and Women Leaders, working towards fostering unity and progress within the party.

Candidates with Party Women leaders In Oke Ero

We find it curious and concerning that a non-party member is leading a protest against our chairmanship candidate. This appears to be a desperate and orchestrated effort to sow discord within our ranks.

Alhaja Yusuf’s long-standing association with Senator Saraki, who has been accused of trying to destabilize the APC in Oke-Ero, further raises suspicions about the true motives behind this protest.

The APC remains steadfast in its commitment to unity and development in Oke-Ero. We urge all party members and supporters to disregard these attempts to disrupt our progress and to remain focused on our goals.

Signed,

Hon. Olusegun Fakayode
APC Chairman of Ward Chairmen in Oke-Ero Local Government”
