APC Omupo Constituency Holds Crucial Stakeholders Meeting

The All Progressives Congress (APC) within the Omupo Constituency of Ifelodun Local Government convened a significant Stakeholders Meeting today to deliberate on the path forward for progress in the local government.

The meeting which was held at the office of Hon. Ganiyu Folabi Salahuddeen and was also presided over by the host and leader of the Constituency, Hon. AGF Salahuddeen.

In his welcome address as the Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Ganiyu Salahuddeen welcomed everyone to the first stakeholders meeting in his second tenure while also appreciating His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrasaq towards his giant strides in the many developmental effort that the state government is putting up.
He subsequently assuaged all the stakeholders present at the Constituency meeting to join hands together in ensuring that Omupo Constituency and Ifelodun LGA regain it’s rightful place in the state.

Going forward, the Honorable member submitted that all members of the party should not be dismayed and shrug off all despair as a result of the resignation of Alhaji Lateef Quadir.

Central to the discussions was the need to design a roadmap for the Constituency following the many rumblings that had engulfed the Local Government Pre and Post-2023 General Elections.

The Chairman of the Kwara State House of Assembly Commission, Hon. Femi Yusuf urged the stakeholders not to be swayed by the resignation of the former APC Local Government Chairman, assuring them that the party would soon regain its shape.

Hon. Kayode Oyin Zubair welcomed stakeholders from all spheres of Ifelodun Local Government, urging them to be committed to the progress of Kwara and the leadership of Governor AbdulRazaq AbdulRahaman.

The congress concluded by announcing plans for a comprehensive Constituency meeting that will engage members of the APC in Omupo Constituency. The date and time for this gathering will be communicated in due course.

In attendance at the stakeholders meeting are, Hon Folashade Atoyebi, Hon. Suleiman Lawal Duduyemi, Hon. Kayode Oyin Zubair, Dr. Babatunde Salami, Arch. Lukman, Alhaji Olanrewaju Aperun, Hon. Surajudeen Babatunde, Alhaji Odeshile, Alhaja Rasheedat Kareem, Representative of Gbenga Oyekunle Power and Prince Yinka Aliu among many other stakeholders that were present.
