APC Speakers Conference Chair: Moro stakeholders pay Kwara Speaker congratulatory visit

The Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly and Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Speakers Conference, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu earlier today received political stakeholders of Moro local government of Kwara state, on a congratulatory visit to his official residence, in Ilorin, the state capital.

The team of APC stakeholders from Moro, led by elder statesman and former member of the Kwara state House of Assembly, Hon. Iliasu Ibrahim, comprise of the Deputy Leader of Kwara Assembly , Hon. Abdulraheem Medinat Motunrayo and Hon. Lawal Ayansola Saliu, member representing Olooru/Malete/Ipaye.

Others on the entourage includes the TIC Chairman of Moro local government, Hon. Isiaka Alikinla, former Kwara North Senatorial aspirant – Engr Taoheed Daud Toyin, Moro APC Chairmen and Women leaders, and delegates of Moro AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq Prodigies (MAAP), among others.

While presenting a congratulatory letter to Danladi-Salihu, Ibrahim noted that notwithstanding the young age of the Kwara Assembly Speaker, he has made Kwara North in particular, and Kwara state as a whole proud with his emergence as the first among his colleague Speakers of the ruling party extraction.

“I must say without equivocation, that you have made us proud, Rt. Hon. Speaker. You don’t only take after Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq by words, you do so in actions. His Excellency’s emergence as Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman and your emergence as APC Speakers Forum Chairman has indeed brought honor to every Kwarans, that we can walk shoulder high anywhere and proudly say that we are Kwarans”, he said.

While reiterating his commitment to the political course of Gov. AbdulRazaq, he appealed for better consideration of Moro in terms of youth employment, empowerment and political appointments, noting that the local government have capable hands who can join the Governor in driving his visionary agenda for Kwara state.

In his response, Rt. Hon. Danladi-Salihu appreciates the stakeholders for their love and support for the administration of Gov. AbdulRazaq, while admonishing them to ensure unity, peace and cohesion as necessary ingredients for progress.

While assuring that the administration of Gov. AbdulRazaq have better plans for Moro local government and the state at large, he noted that they have got good representatives in their lawmakers, who have always echoed the yearning and aspirations of the people of Moro, reiterating that the present government will not only come up to, but surpass their expectations positively.
