The All Progressives Congress (APC) Zango ward in Ilorin East Local Government has convened a special congress to extend their appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON, for the nomination of Hon. Adam Mustapha Aduagba as the consensus councilorship candidate for the forthcoming election.
During the event, the Vice Chairman of APC Zango ward conveyed heartfelt thanks to Governor Abdulrazaq for his unwavering commitment to the development of Kwara State and his effective management of party activities. The Vice Chairman also expressed gratitude to Amb. Abdulfatah Yahaya Seriki, Hon. Amuda Jimoh, and Hon. Abdulqowiy Cook Olododo for their dedication and significant contributions towards the progress of the party and the state.
“We, the Executives, Elders, and members of the APC in Zango ward, are fully satisfied with the nominated candidate and are committed to achieving success in the upcoming elections in Zango ward and Ilorin East Local Government,” said the Vice Chairman.
Hon. Akanbi Abdulkareem Olayiwola, representing the other aspirants for the councilorship ticket, endorsed the consensus candidate and expressed readiness to collaborate for the success of the party. He also commended Governor Abdulrazaq and urged him to continue his exemplary work in refining the state.
The congress was attended by key figures including the Ward Woman Leader, Secretary, Youth Leader, Ward Elders, Local Government Executives, and hundreds of ward members.
