An assemblage of young Kwarans, committed to catalysing a positive and remarkable transformation in the social, political, and economic landscape of Kwara state, the Generational Shift Initiative (GSI) has expressed excitement as they celebrated one of their own, Hon. Sadiq Buhari, on his recent appointment as an Adviser on Social Investment to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON of Kwara state.

Buhari, a former Commissioner for Communications in Kwara state had been a dedicated member of the group, always demonstrating passion about creating positive change.

A statement by the pro-tem spokesperson of the group, Lekan Omotoyinbo reads, “We at Generational Shift Initiative (GSI) are super excited over the news of the appointment of one of us, Hon. Sadiq Buhari as Adviser to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, on Social Investment, and the members of the Initiative were beyond proud of Buhari’s achievement.

“Buhari’s reappointment, after serving as a Commissioner in the Kwara state Ministry of Communication is a reflection of his hard work and dedication, which is well recognized by the youth-loving and visionary leadership of Gov. AbdulRazaq.

“GSI particularly acknowledge and appreciate Gov. AbdulRazaq for not only recognizing Buhari’s talent and appointment, but also for his believe and commitment to building a sustainable future through development of youths’ leadership capabilities and making them the architects and engineers of the future that belongs to them.

“We are confident these young chaps Gov. AbdulRazaq entrusts with leadership roles will continue to demonstrate passion and expertise, and make a significant impact on overall good governance in the state”, the statement added.
