Attorney General condoles with family, relatives, friends over KWASU VC’S death, Prof Akanbi

The Attorney General and Kwara State Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Senior Ibrahim Sulyman has described the death of Prof. Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi, SAN, and also the Kwara State University Vice Chancellor as a rudy shock and great loss to the Kwara especially Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, Legal Community as well as the academics community.

He expressed this in a statement released after receiving the tragic news, saying Ilorin Emirates, Kwara State as a whole has lost one of their diamonds, adding that we’ve lost a disciplined and upright legal luminary, a role model for many in the legal community and the society at large”.

The Honourable Commissioner who had a very close working relationship with the late Vice Chancellor during his time at the helms of affairs of the Ministry of Tertiary Education further described him as an achiever, a humble and charismatic member of the society.

He, however, prayed for Allah to rest the deceased soul and gives his entire family, relatives and friends the fortitude to bear the loss, adding that, I pray that Allah will pardon all his misdeeds and grant him Jannah.
