The current and outgoing Kwara North Senatorial Coordinator of the All Progressive Youth Forum (APYF), Abduljelil Suleiman Bala-Daba has emerged as the new Kwara aState Coordinator of the Forum. This was contained in a statement released by the Forum signed by its Director of Media and Publicity Salihu Mohammed.
The new Kwara State APYF Coordinator, Bala-Daba is from Ilesha, Baruten Local Government of Kwara North Senatorial District, Kwara State.
He attended Federal Government College (FGC) Kwali, in Kwali Area Council of FCT, Abuja. And later proceeded to the reputable Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU), Ile Ife where he obtained B.Sc in International Relations.
A team player and promoter of sustainable human development, through productive activities in diplomacy, finance, technology and agriculture. BALA-DABA has been active member of, and held various positions in many social organisations and quasi socio-political associations both as an individual and student. He served as the Director of Socials of All Nigeria United Nations Students and Youths Association (ANUNSA) in 2010 and later Chairman of Audit Committee of the same Association in 2011.
He was also an active member of Junior Chambers International (JCI) OAU Collegiate chapter, where within a year, he was the family head of Family 8 in 2012. BALA-DABA was the pioneer Vice Chairman of Northern Students’ Forum (NSF) in the year 2012 and an active member of Movement for Social Justice (MSJ) 2010-2013, he was the Secretary Ad-hoc Committee on Justice of the Students’ Union (2010), Memeber, Security Council of the OAU Students’ Union (2011).
In the home front, BALA-DABA was a member of the Senate Council, National Association of Kwara State Students National Headquarters (NAKSS NHQ) (2010-2011), National Vice President, Administration (NAKSS NHQ) (2011-2012).
Having contributed to the students’ development, BALA-DABA has been actively engaged in developmental politics through enthusiastic participation in politics since 2003, his Progressiveness has earned him membership in development driven political and non-political platforms.
A community development enthusiast and a firm believer in developmental politics and active political player, BALA-DABA has been a vibrant member of community development associations and an advocate youths inclusiveness in politics and governance at various levels; Local, State and National.
BALA-DABA is among Foundational member of Kwara North Development council (KWANDCO), he’s a founding member and pioneer General Secretary North Central Agenda For Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (NOCABAT) (2021), the Pioneer State Coordinator Youths Alliance for Tinubu (YAT) (2022).
BALA-DABA has been an active follower and member of All Progressives Youth Forum (APYF) at national and state level respectively. He bacame the Kwara North Senatorial Coordinator in 2022 and currently privileged to be elected as the Kwara State Coordinator of the Forum (APYF).
