An expert on economic growth and business development, Chief Gbenle Adeyemi has laud massive road construction projects and other works going on in Kwara State by Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq’s administration.

Chief Gbenle Adeyemi who is a professional auditor, accountant, politician and a front-line entrepreneur disclosed this while answering questions on assessing the giant strides of Governor AbdulRazaq government within the last two and half years.

Addressing the media, Chief Gbenle Adeyemi said, “to set the record straight, Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq is investing massively on Roads, Education, Health and Job creation in Kwara state. With the ongoing construction and renovation of schools across the state, health facilities are being put in place including Garment Factory, ICT Innovation Hub, Visual art center, International Conference Centre, Gbugbu International Market, 33km Ilesha Baruba-Gwanara road, dualization of Yebumot – Al Hikmah University – Adeta Roundabout – Oloje road, Kishi – Kaima roads and Tanke Flyover to mention but few.”

Meanwhile, the importance of a good road on economic growth and development can not be overemphasized because the movement of goods and services from one place to another within a given time fast tracks massive economic drive with meaningful development can be achieved.

While expressing joy over the construction of 11.1km 0si Obbo Aiyegunle road, Chief Gbenle Adeyemi said the road was awarded many times by the past administration without meaningful work done and due to the bad condition of this road it has become a haven for criminals elements to perpetrates crimes.

He commended Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq for securing funds for the completion of the two campuses of Kwara State University at Osi and Ilesha Baruba uncompleted by the previous administration, the recent launched 10year Sustainable Development Plan to put Kwara state on a global map and other policies by AA’s government are synergy for rapid development chief Gbenle added.
