The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has had a careful reconsideration of its decision on the ongoing industrial action, as it’s preparing to suspend the ongoing strike.
The staff union had on Thursday night spelled out its readiness to resume work if its proposal is welcomed by the government on Monday.
The lecturing staff union had refused to make public its proposal. The union however expressed optimism that it could suspend the industrial action for three months and declare an indefinite strike if its demands are not met by the federal government.
