The Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade, has expressed satisfaction with the consignment delivery of alum procured for the treatment of drinkable water across the state.

The Commissioner stated this at the Kwara State Water Corporation, Ilorin when he received loads of trucks with the consignment to the corporation office.

Lade who ensured that the consignment was weighed to ascertain the real grams of it by the agreement for the procurement, reiterated the state government’s commitment to provide the people of the state with a potable water supply.

He directed the management of the corporation to quickly fix the collapsed fences to disallow possible insecurity threats at the establishment.

Taking the Commissioner and his entourage around the facility, the former Acting Secretary of the Corporation, Mallam Buhari Sani Adebayo, appealed to the ministry to help with logistics to put the collapsed fences back in shape.
