The Candidate of Kwara APC to the House of Representatives in Edu/ Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, Ahmed Saba, reportedly order to be remanded in the custody of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Order of the Upper Area Court sitting in Abuja.

You may recall that the Court issued a Bench Warrant against Ahmed Saba on the last adjourned date owing to his failure to appear before the court. The court, having refered the matter to the police for further investigation, adjourned the case to the 12th day of December, 2022 for further mention.

However, according to our source who pleaded anonymous said “while the police were busy with court officials the wily Ahmed Saba escaped from the court premises at high speed with a green coloured Peugeot car. Efforts are currently on the way to trace and rearrest him.

Saba has in the course of this case proved to be a professional con artist, dishing out one deceitful scheme and another to avoid prosecution, the source said
