Today marks another remarkable day in the history of our emirate. Asides from being a friday and as Muslims this is the most special day of the week, It glitters also at being the day we welcome an “Alimi” into the Council of Mai Martaba, Seriki n Ilori, Dr. Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari, CFR.

Dr Alimi Abdulrazaq! You have overtime shown that you are worthy of your two great names, “Alimi” being a similitude of Sheik Alimi Janta, the war hero who liberated our land as you have displayed time after time your doggedness in the struggle to move the Emirate forward, and “Abdulrazaq” being a replica of your father in intellectualism and patriotism.

Congratulations on your turbaning as the Mutawali of Ilorin. And you are welcome to the Council built on faith and oneness, the Council of Sheik Alimi Janta, being under the most prestigious management of His Royal Highness, Sheik Dr Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari, CFR.
