The National Association of University Students (NAUS) has announced its plans to host an Education Summit in partnership with the Prince Ademola Adegbite Foundation (PAAF). The call for the summit was motivated after the alarming 77% failure rate in the recently released 2024 JAMB results.
The Education Summit will bring together students, youths and dignitaries from across the nation to Kwara State. The event will serve as an intellectual platform to discuss the massive educational fallout, outdated curricula and the way forward to make informed decisions for the benefit of students, educationists and the government.
The Education Summit is scheduled to take place on May 29, 2024, at the Nigeria Evangelical Fellowship (NEF) Hall in Shao, Kwara State. The theme of the summit is “Scam or Not, Knowledge is Key: Highlighting the value of both formal and informal education.”
NAUS, in collaboration with the Prince Ademola Adegbite Foundation, aim to reengineer and redirect the minds of young students, ultimately improving the quality of education in the country.
