The incoming Honorable to represent Afon Constituency At the kwara state house of Assembly cum 2023 election in kwara State, Hon. Sulaimon Lekan Gadaff has charged muslims to intensify efforts in praying for the unity and progress of Kwara State and Nigeria in general.

In his Sallah message on the occasion of the muslims festival of Eid-el-kabir, personally signed and made available to his Media Aide in Ilorin on Saturday 9th of July, 2022.

Gadaff appealed to muslim faithful to be committed to the lesson and significance of the Eid-el-kabir by making sacrifices and working for the unity of the nation.

He, however, stressed muslims must not lose sight of the quintessential virtues and blessings, as well as the moral and spiritual wisdom of the season, changing them to imbibe the spirit of piety, sacrifice and almsgiving.

He further enjoined politicians to abhor campaign of calumny, mudslinging or character assassination of opponents as the 2023 general election poll gathers momentum.

“What should be paramount to all aspirants is how to sell his or her programme and convince the electorate about them not mudslinging. We have passed this level of campaign based on mundane issues,” He said.

Also, Gadaff congratulate the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambri CFR for his unique leadership and open door policy in the Emirates and its environs, saying Emir is an icon of a true father. He also wish Emir and Emirates Council successful Dubar celebration ahead.

He however wish all Muslims Umah across the state a peaceful and joyful Eid celebration.
