The Chairman of Gbenga Power Foundation, Hon Gbenga Oyekunle Power has felicitated with the Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of Eid-li-Adha Celebration.

This is contained in his Special Eid Message,

“I celebrate Muslim Faithfuls from Kwara State who gathered upon Mount Arafat yesterday, to observe the Hajj rites.
It is my Prayer that Almighty Allah will hear their supplication and grant our state, tranquility.

In the same vein, I do also rejoice with all Muslim Faithfuls in Kwara State and my father, The Elese of Igbaja, Alhaji Ahmed Awuni Arepo III, on the advent and celebration of the Eid il Adha.
The Eid il Adha is a time to remind ourselves of the need to make sacrifices and exhibit complete submission to the will of the Almighty Allah just as Prophet Ibrahim did in offering his only son, Ismail, in ages past.

We must indeed be grateful and thankful to the Almighty for his protection over our lives even as we are privileged to witness this year’s celebration.

I will therefore admonish my Muslim brothers and sisters to be committed to all the teachings that the festive period upholds while also praying for peace and economic development to pervade our Nation and state.”
