Earlier yesterday, Hon Rotimi Suleiman Iliasu, a philanthropist and former Kwara Commissioner for Works attended the naming ceremony of Hajia Kehinde Alabi in Mogaji area, behind Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.

Hajia Kehinde, is the womam coordinator of Maap, Abati-Laara Ward, Kwara State.

Hon Iliasu during the naming ceremony program not only financially supported Hajia Kehinde but stayed with her throughout the program to ensure her program was exceptional and memorable.

Ishola Akeem, a coordinator of Maap Abati-Laara Ward, who accompanied Hon Iliasu to the program praised his philanthropic acts.

Mr Akeem explained how Hon Iliasu suddenly branched Akorede Beauty Saloon, a Hair Dressing shop celebrating the freedom of one of their graduands while coming from the naming ceremony.

“Hon Iliasu met them praying for Usman Mujidat, a graduand of hair dressing work. He supported the shop owner with some cash and further gave the graduand money to purchase a brand new hair drier, a lady he had never met in his life.” he said.

However, Hon Iliasu said at the event that “I did this for the graduand to support her parents who may not have the wherewithal to purchase the equipment” adding that he prayed Allah blesses the works of the graduand whenever she’s ready to start on her own.

Usman Mujidat, a graduand of hair dressing work in her appreciation words, thanked Hon Iliasu for supporting her with huge amount of money, and prayed that Allah blesses him in unexpected ways, guides and protects him and his entire family from evil eyes.

“I’ve received the money and it is complete”, she said.
