Ex-Governor Lawal daughter and also the Kwara Commissioner for enterprise, Hajia Arinola Lawal, showed her overwhelmed excitement and happiness as his father, Late Governor Muhammed Alabi Lawal was honoured for his efforts to develop Kwara State during the 27th convocation of Kwara State Polytechnic.

This contain in a statement personally sent to Prudent watch that, he was honoured by naming a 2000 sitting capacity auditorium hall (Real Admiral Muhammed Alabi Lawal Auditorium) to commensurate the 15years remembrance of his departure.

During the event, she said, “I represented the entire Lawal family gave special thanks to His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who was represented by the Deputy Governor Mr. Kayode Alabi”.

She further said I appreciated His Excellency for honoring my late father and keeping his name in minds of people in the State. This will keep his legacy alive for many years.

Also, I commended the Governing Council and Management of Kwara State Polytechnic; Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed for making today a reality in the history of the family.
