Ex-Kwara PDP Commissioner defects to APC in Moro LGA

Former Kwara Commissioner for Commerce and Cooperatives, Hajia Funmi Oniwa has defected to All Progressives Party APC from the People’s Democratic Party PDP. The ministry of Commerce and Cooperatives which used to head under Formal Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed is now Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology.

Oniwa who joined APC with Hon. Abdulkabir Omo Hunmon former National Assembly aspirants Moro, Edu, Patigi aspirant 2018 and other PDP members across the seventeen wards was received at the Olooru by the Kwara Commissioner for Works, Engr Rotimi Suleiman Iliasu.

Iliasu in his welcome address promised equity and fair sharing. He noted that APC is not a party that discriminates. He thereafter called for strong cooperation among members to ensure that APC party is victorious in the forthcoming Gubernatorial and House Assembly Elections in the State.

In the remark by Oniwa, she declared a total support for Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and promised to work for the success of APC and Gov Abdulrazaq at the poll.
