Ilorin was buzzing with excitement as Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi’s daughter married Abubakar in a grand celebration. On December 9th, 2023, Amina Omotolani Abdullahi tied the knot with her soulmate Olusegun Abubakar, surrounded by family and friends. The event was graced by the presence of Kwara State’s Executive Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim, a Legislative aide to the member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Muktar Tolani Shagaya, was beaming with pride as he gave his daughter Amina Omotolani away to Olusegun Abubakar, son of Mr. Abubakar of Edo State.

The bride’s mother, Mrs. Abdullahi Olaide Kafayat, was equally proud as she celebrated the union of her daughter to her new husband. The event was a joyous celebration of love and family, and the newlyweds were surrounded by the love and support of their friends and relatives.

The wedding ceremony was attended by several dignitaries and members of high society, including: Asa Local Government Council Chairman, Alhaji Abdulganiy Saadu; APC Party Chairman in Asa, Alhaji Sheu Yahaya; APC Chieftain Alhaji Issa Amosa; Salman Shagaya Foundation’s Director General, Alhaji Muftau Akanbi Oke; and former Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Gidado Abdullateef Alakawa.

Also in attendance were: Honourable Yinusa Oniboki, member representing Afon State Constituency, Kwara State House of Assembly; and representatives of Honourable Muktar Shagaya.
