FKY delegation with the Kwara Commissioner for Youths

The Federation of Kaiama Youths (FKY) has formally established a collaborative pact with the Ministry of Youths Development in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The association Led by Barrister Kabir Bello, conveyed its steadfast commitment to working closely with the Ministry to uplift the youth in Kaiama and across Kwara.

Barr. Bello extended congratulations to Honorable Commissioner Nafisat Musa Buge on her well-deserved appointment and highlighted FKY’s ongoing youth-centric initiatives.

The Commissioner warmly welcomed the Federation, recognizing their dedication to youth development.

Discussions centered on potential collaborations, with a focus on skill acquisition programs, entrepreneurship training, and capacity building. Both parties explored joint initiatives to tackle issues like unemployment and social vices among the youth.

In a heartfelt commitment, Commissioner Buge declared, “Baruten is Kaiama, and Kaiama is Baruten,” emphasizing the interconnectedness of the regions.

The Federation expressed gratitude, assuring full support and cooperation in implementing Ministry-led programs.

In his part, Hon. Ishola Kayode, the Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Digital Innovation, actively engaged the organization in registering participants for the ongoing 3 Million Training (3MTT) and urged an extension of the registration to Kaiama Local Government. He also urged President Bello to encourage the youths in Kaiama to embrace digital life.

The delegation includes Vice President Special Duties, Balikis Ladi Yakub; Director of Media and Publicity, Zulkarnain Musa Sheri; Board of Trustees Member, Hajia Aminat Salihu; Sanuso Idris Lamido, and host of others.
