Hon. Sulaiman Lekan Gadaff recently met with the youth of Asa Local Government Area, urging them to remain calm and steadfast in their loyalty to Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq and the All Progressives Congress (APC). During the meeting, he addressed concerns related to the upcoming local government elections and reassured the youth that their voices would be heard and their concerns diplomatically addressed by the governor. He emphasized that Asa remains unified, with no faction amongst the youths within the party, and fully committed to supporting the governor’s agenda.
Mall. Ibrahim AbdulRaheem (Afon constituency coordinator) encourages Asa youth to take advantage of various youth empowerment program rolled out by the state through Kwassipp and federal government.
Mall. Usman Ganiyu Akopari (Owode/Onire constituency coordinator) preaches love and unity among the youth, and youth need a chairmanship candidate who will unite the whole Asa local government.
Hon. Mutiu Ajidagba, who was also present at the meeting, highlighted the marginalization of Asa youth, expressing concern that some elements within the party were attempting to link Asa youth with unconnected leaders. He made it clear that the only leader the youth of Asa recognize and remain loyal to is Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq. Ajidagba stressed the importance of ensuring that the interests of the youth are genuinely represented in the party’s decisions.
Mashood Rufai, another prominent voice at the gathering, emphasized the importance of unity within Asa and urged the governor to listen to the concerns of the Asa people. He underscored that the unity of Asa is vital for the continued progress of the region and that any decisions made should reflect the collective aspirations of the community.
Hon. Gadaff reaffirmed that Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq is a listening leader who values the input of all stakeholders, particularly the youth, who are critical to the state’s future. He urged the youth to continue their support for the governor’s development agenda, which has already brought significant progress to Kwara State.
In conclusion, Alh Rasheed Sakariyau Folohuseya called on all Asa residents to remain united and loyal to the governor, assuring them that their concerns will be addressed with fairness and transparency.
