• Call for community based policing
The youth mobilizer and good governance advocate, Hon. Sulaimon Lekan Gadaff has speaks against crimes, this was contained in his lecture delivered at KHHI in Lagos.
The program which was themed community intervention against crimes, was an Initiative of KHHI. The program was targeted to address the raising rate of crimes in the society and ways to tangle the challenges.
Speaking at the event, the ECOWAS inductee Hall of Fame, Hon. Sulaimon Lekan Gadaff emphasized the need for community based structured policing system, which would cater for the raise of insecurity in the country from its root, therefore reduce the crimes to manageable sizes, hence we can’t have a crime free society, he said.
Community intervention became the best solution to crimes bottleneck militarizing our common peace and harmony as a people, as such, we must all raise firmly at the community/society level to strengthen up against these challenges.
Gadaff utilized the opportunity to call for support for security agents by supply to them verify, accurate and actionable information to ease their work of protecting our lives and property.
“Security is everybody business, so at all levels we must ensure that we support our security agents by assist them in their intelligent gathering and commend their activities when necessary. As citizens let’s us do our part by being security conscious.
Criminals are not ghost, they live with us, dine and wine with us, as such, we must expose them by all means, by doing that we’re creating a better society for ourselves to live” Gadaff added.
The program was widely attended by youths across the state.
