The Chairman and founder of the Gbenga Power Foundation has on Thursday, December 28, 2023, renewed his committment to ensuring optimum internal security for communities in Ifelodun Local Government Area, a bid to support the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq.

Hon. Gbenga Power made this known at the First Elerin Royal Family Day in Adanla-Irese, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara state.
While announcing a princely sum of One Million Naira (1,000,000), The philanthropist noted that,

“Security is paramount to our existence as humans and considering many adjoining communities that are around this area, it is expedient that security architecture is organized and virile in order to ward off criminal elements and retrogressive beings.”

“I must commend the initiative of the Elerin of Adanla, Oba David Oyerinola and his entire Elerin Royal Family at home and in diaspora for the initiative they have put together in securing lives and properties in Adanla and many other neighbouring communities and it is on this note, that I am supporting the Police Divisional Police Post project with One Million naira (1,000,000).

While responding, the Elerin of Adanla, Oba David Oyerinola praised Hon. Gbenga Power for the huge amount donated towards the construction of a modern Police Station in Adanla.

Present at the First Elerin Royal Family Day, are descendants of Elerin from Ibadan, Budo-Idowu and across different parts of Irese land. Also present are dignitaries like Hon. AGF Salahuddeen, Otunba Lanre Obadaiah, SSA to Governor Zulum on Media and Publicity, Representative of Elese of Igbaja, Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Oloruntoyosi Thomas, Ojibara of Bayagan, Agbaja of Igbaja and Akogun of Balogun-Oja among many others.
