Igbomina Youth Assembly, a leading socio-cultural youth group under the leadership of Engr. Jimoh AbdulRasheed Temitope has urged all Igbomina indigenes both at home and in diaspora to go and pick their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
The President in a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary, Abdulrasaq Ismaheel Opeyemi on Friday said, “as the INEC begins the distribution of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) at political wards level today, I charge and encourage you all to go and pick your PVC as a matter of urgency because the PVC is the only tool that we can use to elect credible representatives in all positions”.
I am very confident that with our PVCs we have the power to elect leaders who will prioritize the development of Igbomina land and her people, Kwara South, Kwara state, and Nigeria at large.
Lastly, I will like to reiterate by imploring all Igbomina youth to shun any act of hooliganism before, during and after the elections. We must not allow politicians to use us to play bad political games this is simply because Igbomina people are known to be peace-loving and industrious in nature.
Abdulrasaq Ismaheel Opeyemi
