The Good Car Company delivered on its promise to the Postgraduate Students Association (POGSASS), gifting the association a new vehicle to support its operations.

The handover ceremony, held yesterday, saw the presence of the CEO of Good Car, the Secretary of the company, the Dean of the Postgraduate School; Prof. Bamidele Victor Owoyele, the Secretary/DR of PG School; Mr Segun Dopamu the President of POGSASS; Abdulahi Isiaq, former POGSASS President; Mr. Abass Adegoke and a former president and now a lecturer in the university; comrade Olayemi Superb.

In his opening address, the CEO of Good Car reflected on the company’s mission and impact. “Welcome to Good Car, where we buy, sell, and swap cars, with a focus on supporting Nigeria’s economy. Our specialization lies in providing vehicles that are not only reliable but also well-documented and technically sound. We are also committed to offering brand new cars,” he said.

One of the company’s key investors, Mr. Francis Shola Ajibuwe, also shared insights during the event. “When we started, like every other company, we began small but have progressed steadily. We are proud of our dedicated management team and staff, and what we prioritize at Good Car is excellence,” Ajibuwe stated. He added, “Our business model is built on fairness, whether we’re buying or selling cars, trucks, or mini-trucks, we prioritize reasonable pricing and integrity. We don’t aim to exploit customers but to ensure they get value for their money. Our clients can testify to the quality of service we provide.”

The CEO highlighted the company’s commitment to POGSASS, stating, “On August 1, 2024, we promised POGSASS a car to aid in running the association’s affairs. Today, we are proud to fulfill that promise.”

In an interview with newsmen, Prof. Owoyele emphasized the importance of partnerships in advancing education. “Education cannot be funded solely by the government, nor can it be funded entirely by parents. We need strong partnerships with those who are endowed to contribute to university endowments, alleviating the suffering of students and supporting the university administration,” he stated.

Prof. Owoyele also expressed his admiration for Good Car’s dedication and transparency. “All protocols duly observed, we are here today because of something rare, when people make promises, very few follow through. I value transparency, and this is exactly what Good Car and POGSASS are demonstrating. I am deeply impressed with this gesture. You surprised me by not only promising a car but also providing a clear projection of when it would be delivered. I stand here today as a witness to your integrity. We need more individuals like you in our economy. Thank you for your contribution to POGSASS.”

Mr. Abdulahi Isiaq, the President of POGSASS, expressed his gratitude to the Good Car Company on behalf of the association. “We are now proud ambassadors of the Good Car Company, and we pledge to make good use of this vehicle. We sincerely appreciate the management for their generous support.”
