The Old Students Association of GSS Ballah, under the leadership of Alhaji Shuaib Alaro, convened for their Quarterly Stewardship Meeting and Sallah Get-together to commemorate Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday, April 13th.
The event, held at the Dining Hall of Kwara Football Academy, Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin, welcomed members from various graduating sets since the school’s inception.
In his address, Alhaji Shuaib Alaro expressed gratitude to attendees for prioritizing the event amidst busy schedules. He emphasized the significance of the gathering, marking the first stewardship presentation by the executive to the association’s members.
Highlighting their administration’s achievements since assuming office, Alhaji Shuaib Alaro cited milestones such as establishing a bank account, appointing board of trustees members, designing new association logos, printing letters, procuring internet Wi-Fi, and acquiring camera stands.
Reports from the Security Committee and Employment Committee showcased innovative initiatives, including the development of a protective fluid for emergencies and the issuance of member ID cards.
In his closing remarks, the president extended appreciation to members, particularly leaders and Board of Trustees members, for their unwavering support in advancing the GSS Ballah Old Students Association.
