Marafa/Pepele Ward of Ilorin East LGA of Kwara State was filled with songs and drums of praises after the TIC Secretary Hon. Olatunde Abosede Mary doled out cash and other materials as part of her little gesture to empower her constituents during the ward meeting.

The empowerment materials included cash empowerment benefits to the tune of Five thousand Naira to random constituents that are less privileged and that needed grants to support their petty businesses as well as school materials for students in the community.

In recent days, Hon. Olatunde Abosede Mary has facilitated different projects to the ward which ranges from the construction of motorized boreholes and grading of the road linking major routes in the community.

Present at the ward Congress where the empowerment program took place as well was Comr. Habeeb Awal who is serving as the current APC chairman Ilorin East, Hon. Yusuf Olatunji the APC Ward chairman as well as other elderly community heads.

She was showered with songs of praises and accolades as it was the first time such would be in the community. They appreciated the Governor of Kwara Mall. Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman for the unflinching support on her and tender there support for him on his 4 + 4 mission.

The Alangua of Marafa appreciated the governor specially for giving their own the opportunity to serve them better. They as well encouraged and implored other office holders to emulate the tread of Hon. Abosede as she was being described as a golden daughter of the soil.

The school materials were handed handed over to the Alangua who received it with great joy and enthusiasm.
