The TIC Supervisor for Education, Ilorin East Local Government, Hon. Bolaji Balogun has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all those who attended the funeral of his late father, the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin, Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari.

Hon. Balogun was particularly grateful to the dignitaries who took time out of their busy schedules to pay their respects to his father, including His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahaman Abdulrazaq, the Governor of Kwara State; Emir of Ilorin, HRH Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari; Rt. Hon. Yakub Salihu Danladi, Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly; Kwara Central Senator, Senator Saliu Mustapha; HoR Ilorin East and South, Hon Yinka Aluko; the TIC Chairmen of Ilorin East, Ilorin South, Ilorin West, and Asa Local Government Areas; Special Adviser and Councillor, Dr Saadudeen Salahudeen; House Leader, KWHA, Hon Oba Abdulkadri Magaji; Hon Rasaq Jidah; Hon Arinola Lawal; Dr Ghali Alaya; Kwara state House of Assembly Members and many others who attended the funeral.

In a statement, Hon. Balogun emphasized the importance of oneness and unity, saying, “The outpouring of love and support from all of you has shown that we are indeed one big family. I pray that Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of my late father and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.”

He also thanked the people of Ilorin Emirates and Kwara State for their condolences and support during this difficult time.
