The community of Ilorin West is abuzz with gratitude as Hon. BT Alabi Ajidagba, the Chairman of AJIBAT Foundation and the founder of New Vision New Kwara, takes a proactive step towards nurturing the educational aspirations of the youth. The summer season is now filled with promise for secondary school students as they benefit from free lessons, scholarships, and invaluable support.

At Ansaru Islam Community Secondary School in Masingba Okekere Community, Ilorin, Kwara State, students are eagerly attending the free summer lessons sponsored by Hon. BT Alabi Ajidagba. The foundation’s vision extends beyond academics, as they are providing students with essential instructional materials like books, pens, and other aids. Notably, this initiative isn’t limited to a single community, as Hon. Alabi has extended his support to other wards including ADEM in Adewole, ADA in Agbaji, Pakata, Oloje, Magaji N Geri, and more.

Hon. BT Ajidagba emphasized the importance of community service and its impact on his life. He stated, “Community service has taught me all kinds of skills and increased my confidence. You go out there and think on your feet, work with others and create something from nothing. Having a direct impact, especially in education which is the bedrock of life, is what life’s all about.” He also expressed his intention to acknowledge and appreciate the best-performing students at the end of the program.

The coordinators of the various communities, including Mal. Abdulganiyu Saliu Sola of Masingba Okekere Community, Mr. AbdulRasaq Wopa of Agbaji Descendant Association (ADA) Agbaji, and Mr. Muhammad Tajudeen Omoola of ADEM Chairman, Adewole Descendant Association, were effusive in their appreciation for Hon. BT Alabi Ajidagba’s generosity. Their heartfelt thanks were also extended to Comrade Oba Omobolaji Abdulazeez for facilitating this initiative.

As Kwara’s educational landscape receives this timely boost, the legacy of AJIBAT Foundation and Hon. BT Alabi Ajidagba continues to shine brightly in the lives of countless young scholars.
