Honorable Maryam Yusuf Aladi, the Deputy Whip and Member Representing Ilorin South State Constituency, has taken a significant step in advancing education in her constituency by flagging off the 8th Edition of the Educational Scholarship Program initiated by the MAY Foundation.

This scholarship program, launched on Tuesday, encompasses a full educational scholarship for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic session. It also involves the distribution of essential writing materials to students in various secondary schools within Ilorin South Constituency.

The MAY Foundation’s scholarship initiative, generously sponsored by Hon. Maryam Yusuf Aladi, underlines her unwavering commitment to providing every citizen with access to quality basic education. By supporting this scholarship program, she aims to empower students and pave the way for a brighter future for them.

The official launch of the scholarship program commenced at Fate/Basin Secondary School and extended to Sheikh Abdulsalam Secondary School, United Community Secondary School, and Government Secondary School Oke Aluko, among others. These schools are located across Ilorin South State Constituency.

In total, 450 students hailing from 45 different schools in Ilorin South State Constituency will benefit from this 8th edition of the MAY Foundation’s Educational Scholarship Program.

Hon. Maryam Yusuf Aladi, in her capacity as Deputy Whip and dedicated representative, remains steadfast in her commitment to improving educational opportunities and outcomes for the youth of Ilorin South State Constituency.
