Ibrahim Bukola Lukman, a dedicated community development advocate, has declared his intention to contest the upcoming Local Government elections for the position of Chairman of Ilorin East Local Government.

This is contained in his declaration message made available to our correspondence in Ilorin, the message reads in full:

This is my honourable declaration that I shall be contesting in the 2024 Local council Elections for the post of Local Government Chairman of Ilorin East Local Government as announced by KWASIEC.
I would like to state that I am a loyal member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Gambari Ward I. I firmly believe that my eligibility to serve as the Chairman of Ilorin East stems from my education, experience, loyalty, and willingness to further propagate the good work of our beloved party, APC, in alignment with the direction of our leader, Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

My passion for public service and community development has driven my active participation in various initiatives aimed at promoting economic growth, good governance, and social justice within our local government and beyond. I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of our people, and I am determined to bring this same level of dedication and service to the office of the Local Government Chairman of Ilorin East.

One of my primary goals is to complement the remarkable efforts of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, whose work has positively impacted communities across Kwara State, including Ilorin East. My vision is to build upon his achievements and further enhance the development and prosperity of our local government. I am committed to implementing policies and programs that will drive economic growth, improve infrastructure, and promote social welfare for all residents of Ilorin East.

Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has made the work of any incoming Local Government Chairman considerably easier with the developments already seen across all the Local Governments in Kwara State. Complementing his already established good works is one of my top priorities.

I am seeking the support of the entire people of Ilorin East Local Government, party stakeholders, and other members of our community. Together, we can build a strong and united front that will ensure the APC’s victory in the upcoming elections. With your support, we can mobilize the necessary resources and grassroots backing needed to win and deliver on our promises to the people.

I am dedicated to working with all stakeholders to create a vibrant and inclusive political process that serves the best interests of our community.
