Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) has joined other dignitaries and organisations to celebrate the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Yakubu Danladi Saliu on the occasion of his 39th anniversary celebration.

The Union, in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Nurudeen Ibrahim, described the Speaker as a hardworking, humble and outstanding parliamentarian who deserves to be celebrated.

The Union urged the Speaker to continue to serve the people of the state and humanity with patriotism and selflessness, saying that the sky would be his starting point.

The statement wished him a very joyful and rewarding birthday anniversary and many more great years ahead.
