The Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Area, of Kwara State Hadji Femi Yusuf, has presented a budget of Eight Billion, Seven Hundred and Eighty-Two Million, Two Hundred and Seventy Thousand, Nine Hundred and Sixty-Four Naira to the Ifelodun Legislative Council for the 2025 appropriation year.
Presenting the budget before the council, Hon. Femi Yusuf described it as a comprehensive financial plan aimed at driving development and improving the quality of life for residents.
He highlighted key focus areas, including security, agriculture, infrastructure, education, and healthcare, as critical to achieving the administration’s growth targets.
“This budget is designed to transform our local economy by enhancing security, boosting agricultural productivity, improving infrastructure, and expanding access to quality education and healthcare,” Yusuf stated.
The Chairman stressed that the budget reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive growth, ensuring that resources are allocated to address the most pressing needs of the people.
He called on the legislative council to give the budget swift consideration and approval to enable timely implementation.
