Engr. Suliaman Rotimi Iliasu, the founder of the foundation, highlighted the program’s dual purpose of acknowledging Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq’s efforts in enhancing Kwara State’s IT landscape and giving back to the local community.

Speaking at the launch event, Engr. Rotimi emphasized the foundation’s holistic approach to empowerment, including scholarships, small business support, and community advancement. He underscored the importance of equipping young individuals with the skills necessary for success in the modern era. Students from all 17 wards within Moro local government were selected to participate.

Engr. Rotimi also shared that the foundation’s office functions as a year-round learning center for both IT and traditional education. During the boot camp, participants receive nourishment and accommodations at no cost. Notably, exceptional students will be rewarded with scholarships and computers to aid their continued learning, alongside the distribution of writing materials.

As the IT boot camp progresses, the Iliasu Ibrahim Foundation continues its mission to empower youth, foster technological literacy, and contribute to the development of a thriving community.
