The residents of Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State and motorists from other states have lauded Hon. Mohammed Omar Bio, Representing Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency of Kwara State of the ongoing rehabilitation of the Trunk-A (federal) road Baruten LGA and Saki-West LGA in Oyo State and also linking Nigeria and the Republic of Banin.

Giving the commendation in separate remarks, the people noted that the road, on completion would allow for easy flow of trade, with farmers and traders bringing their farm produce and goods easily to the markets, while the council would encounter more development.

A commercial driver, Jimoh Yakubu, in his submission, described the road rehabilitation as timely, especially the Ilesha – Okuta axis, saying, _“I have been driving on this route for the past 10 years and I know the driving stress associated with this road, especially the Ilesha-Okuta axis. This rehabilitation project would improve economic activities, not only in towns along the road, but the entire local government area.”_

Another resident, Mallam Ibrahim Musa, a farmer from Ilesha-Baruba, expressed gratitude to the facilitator, Hon. Mohammed Omar Bio, for the rehabilitation of the road, noting that the ongoing project would serve massive boost for the farmers, _‘’as life would be more comfortable for us in bringing our farm produce to the markets’’._

Alh. Tajudeen Sanusi, a businessman who ply the road on daily basis said, _‘’the facilitator, Hon. Abin Bio has done well with the ongoing road repairs. We are relief because we can now put our vehicles on the road without worrying about visiting the mechanics on regular basis.’’_

Others who expressed delight on the project, showered encomium on the facilitator, Hon. Omar Bio, adding that the only barrier in the lawmaker’s reelection bid is time. His name is like the slogan of MTN i.e “Everywhere You Go” due to his projects spread across the constituency.
