• Congratulates beneficiaries of Kwapreneur
The Kwara Progressive Media Organization has commended the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman over what it described as a hero of youth for marking this year’s International Youth Day in a grand style by empowering 100 youths with 1 million naira each through the administration’s Kwarapreneur initiative at the State Banquet Hall in Ilorin.
The Organization, through its convener, Usman Lade made its position known in a statement released in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital to commemorate the International Youth Day 2022 tagged; “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a world for all ages.”
The N1m grant is funded through Kwapreneur 2.0, a programme specifically designed to support businesses owned by young people and funded through the Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP).
The organization in its statement described Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as the hero of youth over his impact-driven Kwarapreneur empowerment that has 100 young business owners as beneficiaries of the second phase of the kwarapreneur programme.
It is noted that the Governor’s interventions in small and medium-sized businesses is an evidence of his administration’s desire to create an enabling environment and ease of doing business for young entrepreneurs in the state.
“It is not in doubt that the Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) under the leadership of Hon. AbdulQawiyu Olododo has taken the issues of Kwara youths very seriously with the laudable empowerment given to hundred Kwara State Youths to enable them turn their business ideas into full-fledged business models ready for investments”
While congratulating the industrious kwara youths and beneficiaries of the kwarapreneur2.0, we also urge them to make judicious use of the fund accordingly which in return will see to a sustainable economic growth in the State.
