*Call for youths participation in Nigerian political processes
As today 12th of August 2022 represents an auspicious occasion of the International Youth Day, the leadership of the New Kwara Coalition wishes all Youths in Kwara state and Nigeria at large an “Happy Democracy Day”.
We join other Nigerians stakeholders today in celebrating the day officially set aside to celebrate the strengths, initiatives and impacts of useful and youthful youths around the world.
In Nigeria, it is a crucial moment for everyone. All situations is at crossroads due to worsening socio-economic, religious, political and security challenges confronting us as a nation.
But as a progressive coalition that is firmly working towards the Nigerian project, we believe that the youth has a collective responsibility of contributing towards the sustainable development of our dear nation and actualizing the dreams of our founding father for the good of everyone.
It is crucial to remember that the general elections in 2023 will present a significant opportunity to alter this depressing story and the regrettable course that our country has on.
Consequently, New Kwara Coalition is using this ample opportunity to admonish our teeming youths to rise up to the challenge by their active participation in our country’s olitical process. We owe it to the current and future generations of Nigeria to support and elect trustworthy, devout leaders who will be able to fix the country and propel it to the next level of accelerated development as the general elections in 2023 draw near.
