The JC Sam Foundation, a non-profit organisation led by Hon. Ilufoye Samson, has organised a free medical outreach for the people of Oyun Local Government in Kwara State.

In a statement to the press, Hon. Ilufoye explained that the initiative aims to support the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON, in his efforts to improve the health sector and promote a healthier Kwara State.

This is not the foundation’s first such effort. Previously, the organisation has provided financial assistance to constituents and offered free medical services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The current programme is being held in two communities within Oyun Local Government: Erin-Ile and Ijagbo. Over 500 people have been attended to, with health check-ups and the distribution of medication.

Beneficiaries of the outreach praised the JC Sam Foundation for bringing this valuable programme to their communities, commending the foundation’s humanitarian efforts.

One beneficiary stated, “Even without holding a political office, Hon. Ilufoye has been actively reaching out to our constituency. This is the third programme he has sponsored this month alone. Three months ago, he provided cash assistance to hundreds of constituents, and now he is here again with this free medical outreach. We pray for continued support and success for him.”

Another beneficiary expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are fortunate to have such a philanthropist who holds his people in high regard. He has supported our community in health, education, and empowerment. We are proud that he is one of us.”

Also present at the event were APC Vice Chairmanship Candidate Alhaja Funmilayo Jemilat Abioye, former Oyun LGA Secretary Hon. Tajudeen Aratumi, and SA Urban Market to the Governor Hon. Olateju Rasheedat Ayobami.

The free medical outreach at Erin-Ile and Ijagbo provided medication to over 500 beneficiaries.
