The leadership of the Kwara Progressive Media Organization (KPMO) has congratulated Aliyu Zubairu Rogun, the newly elected Zonal Youth Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on his emergence at the just concluded national convention of the party in Abuja.

In a statement signed by the Convener of the group, Usman Yunusa Lade at a get-together organized by Kwara APC Youth Leader, Comrade Sulaimon Duduyemi held at the state’s party secretariat in Ilorin urged young people to get actively involved in politics to be able to contribute their quota to national development.

“Now is the time to struggle for the available political spaces, grow in popularity within our political party, build capacity for leadership and take our place based on merit and political acumen.”

“For us, the emergence of Aliyu Rogun, the Patigi born and grassroots mobilizer as the North Central Zonal Youth Leader of African’s biggest political party (APC) is a plus for the struggle for youth inclusion in political leadership and a reward for loyalty”

“Let me use this opportunity to once again appreciate our Governor, Mallam Abdulraman Abdulrazaq and Kwara State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi for the opportunity given to Kwara State Youths in the State and beyond”.

“While congratulating him, we urge the new Zonal Youth leader of APC to prove the party right through his performances in office.”

“He must not allow the pecks of office to control his mind but run an open door administration and be receptive to ideas from fellow youths to succeed”, he said.
