KWANDCO holds Town Hall meetings in Edu, Moro, and Patigi Local Governments

During the weekend dated the 25 & 26 of June 2022, the Prudent Watch Media was present at Patigi Local Government, Edu Local Government, and Bode Saadu of Moro Local Government Secretariat for the live coverage of their respective maiden Town Hall meeting organized by the Kwara North Development Council (KWANDCO).

The meetings were organized to discuss challenges and give ways forward to continuous development at each location of the Kwara North Senatorial district.

KWANDCO in Patigi LG

While at the Patigi Local Government Meeting, the chairman, KWANDCO, Comr Jerry Majin Kolo made it known to all members while addressing them that every challenge deposited and yearned out would be channeled to necessary quarters for immediate positive response.

He further said that the sole aim of touring the local governments in Kwara North is to meet and hear from the various community leaders and other high calibre people the challenges encounter and the needs that will facilitate the development of each community, saying the incumbent administration led by His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is fully ready to proffer remedy to all identified challenges and provide the needed things for the improvement of the communities

“Gov Abdulrazaq has opened employment opportunities to all in Kwara State and renovated more than 16 schools in Patigi Local Government”, NUT Chairman, Patigi, Comr Jimoh expressed in his address amidst all other discussions with the constituents.

KWANDCO in Edu LG

The President of Egwa Youth Association, Lafiagi, Alhaji Umnmaa husaini, in his address to Lafiagi constituents made mention of how the Present Government has performed incredibly in terms of Road construction that they have not been enjoying since last 50 years and also, he changed the look of both primary and secondary schools in terms of renovation and construction of new buildings. ” This has contributed immensely to the societal development of the community at large”, he said.

“We will table all your recommendations and needs to the appropriate quarters and we promised the needful will be done on them in a short time”, Comr Kolo, the Chairman, KWANDCO assured Lafiagi of Edu Local Government constituents.

KWANDCO in Bode Saadu

At the conclusion of the meeting at Moro local government, the NULGE Chairman of Moro Local Government, Comrade Moses Ojo applauded the incumbent Government for the full implementation of the minimum wage.
