KWANDCO inspects Gbugbu International Market

•Lauds Gov AbdulRazaq over developmental projects

Yesterday, 12 March 2022, the Kwara North Development Council (KWANDCO) visited the ongoing construction of Gbugbu International Market which was approved by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

The Council as part of its developmental-driven agenda made an inspection stop at the ongoing Gbugbu International located in Gbugbu in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State. The International market is one of the many developmental projects of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration.

Engr. Sunday Babatunde, the structural engineer of the Gbugbu International Market who was on-site at the time of the visit took the members of the council around the ongoing phase 1 of the project.

“The quality of work being done here is top-notch and we’re working optimally to get the project delivered within the specific period of time,” he said.

The chairman of KWANDCO, Comrade Jerry Maajin Kolo, who was interviewed by the Prudent Watch correspondent gave kudos to His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the ongoing laudable project. It’s one of its kind in the state and we’re happy it is located in our region.

“Indeed, we are very excited to see this kind of developmental project which is also our primary concern and we believe by the time this project is completed, it is going to improve the value of business productivity and allow mass accessibility into the market while boosting the economic strength of not just Kwara North but the entire state in general” said by the chairman.

The Chairman also commended the structural engineering, Engr. Sunday Babatunde for the job well-done and pleaded with him and his team to deliver the best and outstanding project.
