The All Progressive Youth Forum (APYF) Kwara State has congratulated a communication and public relations experts and media consultant Raheem Adedoyin (Oloriewe) on his appointment as the Editorial Board Chairman of The Herald Newspaper.

The State Coordinator of APYF Hon. Abduljalil Bala-Daba in a congratulatory message to the media strategist on behalf of the Forum, said the appointment of Adedoyin as the head of the Editorial Board of the Herald Newspaper is one of the best things best that has happened to the state owned newspaper firm in recent times.

“Oloriewe is an expert and professional in the field of communication; be it print, broadcast and public relations. He is Secretary of the Nigerian chapter of the International Press Institute (IPI), a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (FNIPR), a media strategist and consultant, and above all a former Commissioner for Information in the state.” “As such we excited and confident that a man with this versed experience is appointed into such positions, because he is well qualified for it going by his track records in field of communication.” Bala-Daba said.

Kwara APYF therefore urged him to bring his wide experience to bear in taking the state media outfit to the next level as he resumes duty as the Editorial Board Chairman of the newspaper which happened to be one of the surviving newspapers of its contemporary.
