Tertiary Education – Senior Ibrahim Sulyman (esq) was at the 1st matriculation ceremony of Bartholomew Legacy
Polytechnic, located at lumo-shao along Jebba Express road, Moro LGA, Kwara State.
He started with his speech by giving courtesies to whom it was due to then greeted everyone present formally to the gathering. He specifically greeted all manipulating presents being the first set of students admitted by the citadel of learning.
He made clear to the students that they are not here just for academics but also to build themselves in sound character. “Don’t allow anybody to make you feel that you are nobody. Always feel that you count. Always feel that you have worth. And always feel that your life has ultimate significance. You need to continually remember that the distance between today’s ceremony and convocation ceremony is short, and it is important that the journey ends successfully well”, he said.
He emphasized on the reasons for them to be regular in attendance at lectures, carry out all your assignments, shun deviant
behaviors and other vices that can expose the students to danger. Hereby, cutting short or leads to their termination of stay on campus and might truncate their dream for tertiary education.
At the end of his speech, he urged the students to be modest and decent in their doings and relations with the school staffs. He wished them the best in their endeavors and all ramifications.
